My Every Day Makeup

So……real talk, I love trying new makeup, however, I’m a creature of habit which basically means that I love using the same products over and over on a daily basis. I can’t help it honestly. Once you find products that work for you, it’s hard to use other things since you have your tried and true products. So today I wanted to share my every day makeup essentials with you. I got this makeup bag fairly recently and I love it because of how large it is, plus it has a separate compartment on the top for brushes. I got mine from here.

Primer- Hands down, my all time favorite is the Becca Backlight Priming Filter. It’s an OG favorite because not only is it moisturizing, but it gives the skin a gorgeous glow. My favorite way to apply it is to actually mix it in with my foundation.

Foundation- My absolute favorite foundation go-to is the YSL All Hours Foundation. It has the most beautiful finish and even though matte foundations aren’t usually my cup of tea, this one isn’t too drying or cakey.

Concealer- Tarte Shape Tape is a BEAST of a concealer. It covers up everything- dark circles, redness, wrinkles and even lies. I’ve tried so many concealers, but I always go back to this baby.

Loose Powder- Hourglass is not only one of my favorite makeup brands, but they also make my favorite loose powder for all over the face. The Hourglass Veil Powder makes the skin look so smooth and flawless and I can never get enough of it. HIGHLY recommend if you haven’t tried it out yet.

Setting Powder- The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder is such a stunning powder. I love using it in my under eye area for a smooth finish. Bonus: it really helps with under eye wrinkles as well.

Brow Pencil- Now I absolutely love the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, but because I would go through them so quickly, I found a dupe for half the cost and now I use the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer which is honestly just as good in my opinion.

Eye Shadow Palettes- I didn’t include these in this post because I just wrote another blog post about my go-to eyeshadow palettes which you can find here.

Eyeliner- Alright I have two favorites. My go-to for winged eyeliner is the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner because of how precise the felt tip is and how black the pigment is. For gel liner, the Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye crayon. They come in a bunch of different colors and go on so creamy.

Mascara- I couldn’t choose between the two so I went with both. On the luxury side, the Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara and on the drugstore side, the L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara. The Hourglass one is amazing and lifting, seperating and lengthening lashes while the L’Oreal one is amazing for volume. I usually use them both together because I’ve honestly never found a mascara that will do it all for me (yeah I know I’m a pain haha).

Bronzer- My current go-to bronzer is the Becca Sunlit Bronzer in the shade, Bali Sands because it’s not too orange and it’s very subtle and glowy.

Blush- I can’t even begin to say how much I LOVE blush. It makes every look come together and I can never get enough. Picking one blush as a go-to was tough, but I use MAC Melba the most because it’s the perfect pinky-peach color for every day use.

Highlight- I have three picks for every day and that is Becca-Champagne Pop, Becca-Opal and OFRA-Rodeo Drive. I love all of them because of how BEAMING they are.

I also really love the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders for all over the face to give a glow from within look. My favorite shade is Luminous Light.

Setting Spray- The Morphe Continous Setting Mist is hands down my favorite. It’s so refreshing with a fine mist and once applied it just melts your makeup together so perfectly.

Liquid Lipstick- My new favorite is the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in the shade, ‘Mannequin‘. It’s such a perfect nude color especially for pale skin. It’s also extremely comfortable to wear and doesn’t get too dry or flakey.

Lipgloss- The Bare Minerals Gen Nude Buttercream Lipglosses are so bomb. My favorite shade is ‘Forbidden‘. They’re very thick, but make the lips look juicy and plump.
