A Natural Alternative: Testing Out Maple Holistics

Hello beautiful people! By now, you guys know that I try out ALOT of different products. Let’s just say curiosity gets the best of me and I’m always looking for the latest and greatest life changing products (aren’t we all?). As much as I love makeup and skincare, I’m pretty sure that I’ve tried out about 10 times more hair products than anything else. Why you ask? Because I have some FUSSY hair. It’s long, frizzy, thick, naturally curly and a tad dry. Because of these things, I’ve tried everything under the sun to get some control over my unmanageable hair. Much to my dismay, I haven’t found a whole lot to work with.

So I thought I would try something a little different. I came into contact with the brand, Maple Holistics, which is an all natural, cruelty-free company with very highly rated hair products for all kinds of different needs. I tried out their bestseller, the Silk18 Shampoo which is best for frizzy, dry and damaged hair. I wasn’t really sure what to expect since I’ve never really used a holistic shampoo before. I was pleasantly surprised right off the bat by 1. the smell (it’s very light and subtle, but still luxurious), 2. how it just soaks right into the hair for hydration and 3. how incredibly soft my hair felt the second I got out of the shower.

Even though I have a ton of hair, I found that I didn’t have to use a whole lot of product when applying and I let it sit in my hair for about 2-3 minutes before rinsing and that helped it absorb and really soak into my hair which helped with the hydration part. I’ve noticed that since I started using the Silk18 shampoo, my hair has been softer, shinier and healthier looking which was harder to achieve before I started using it. I would definitely recommend trying out their shampoos and conditioners. Check out their website below and let me know if you’ve tried out their products before!
