March Beauty + Skincare Haul

Happy Friday everyone! I can’t even believe March is almost over! This whole month flew by soo fast, but that just means we’re closer and closer to warmer weather and I can bust out my shorts and flip flops! I must admit that I’ve been a little behind with the beauty launches this month, but I still wanted to include the things that I did purchase in the month and give you my thoughts on them.

Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser– I’ve been really intrigued with this brand as of late. I’ve heard so many good things about their skincare products and I when I took trip to Sephora, my intent was to try their Watermelon Glow Sleep Mask. However, they were all sold out, so I opted to pick up this cleanser. As the name suggests, it is a very gentle, gel-like cleanser which is perfect for sensitive skin. I think it does a pretty good job of getting the face clean and leaving a fresh feeling behind. The scent is also really nice! The only draw back is that it’s a tad drying. So after I use it, I’ll moisturize immediately after.

Benefit Cosmetics- Cheekleaders Mini Cheek Palette– I really love Benefit’s bronzers and blushes and when I run out of them, I tend to just purchase their palettes because they are a better value than the individual products. This mini is adorable and perfect for travel. It includes one of their newer blushes, Gold Rush, a new highlighter called Cookie and their fan favorite bronzer, Hoola which I LOVE. The blush is nice and of course I love the bronzer, but the HIGHLIGHT……my god! It’s beaming! Absolutely stunning! It’s a golden pearly color and it looks so smooth and pretty on the skin.

Milani Only Rose Powder Blush– Milani makes really amazing drugstore blushes. Luminoso is one of my ride or die favorites. These rose blushes are just as good in my opinion and look how cute the packaging is?! I have the shade, Blossomtime Rose, which is a pinky color with just a touch of gold.

Anastasia Liquid Lipsticks in the shades, Madison & Kathryn– I don’t wear super vibrant liquid lipstick very often, but I do enjoy them in the spring/summer months and Madison is very beautiful and unique. It’s a bright purple/magenta. Kathryn is actually a re-purchase for me and it’s a little more muted with more berry/brown tones.

Morphe Fluidity Full Coverage Concealer– After hearing how full coverage the new Morphe foundation was, I decided to see if their concealer is just as full coverage (I need all the coverage I can get). My overall thoughts are that I do like it, but it’s not my favorite. The coverage is there, but it’s a little dry for my under eye area. I think if you’re on a budget, it’s definitely worth picking up.

e.l.f. Cosmetics 16HR Camo Concealer– Now this concealer definitely packs a punch. It’s even less expensive than the Morphe one and this baby is THICK and FULL COVERAGE. I was super surprised by this product because I wasn’t expecting much especially for $5! I’d say it’s like the Tarte Shape Tape on steroids.

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Shadow– This is another product that I was very surprised with. I’m not normally a cream/stick eyeshadow girl, but I got a sample in the shade, Rose Gold, and I was shocked at how gorgeous it was the first time I used it. It’s a very nice shimmery pop for the eyes and would be especially useful if you were in a hurry and wanted to throw a little something on before running out the door.
