First official blog post!!! Yay!! I thought I would share some awesome products I’ve fallen in love with the past month or so, both affordable and higher end.
First things first,
Brazilian Bum Bum Cream by Sol De Janeiro- OMG people! When I say that this body cream is one of the best smells ever, I mean it! To me it smells like a mixture of tropical beach vacation and a dessert with a touch of men’s cologne. That sounds odd, but trust me when I say that this stuff is amazing and super moisturizing for dry skin.
Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation by Laura Mercier- Strangely enough, the very first time I tried this foundation I didn’t like it. But after trying it out a few more times, I grew to really love it. It gives the skin a silky appearance and great coverage. A little goes along way so no need to cake it on.
Lumi Glotion by L’Oreal- I’m not huge into cream highlighting products, but this stuff is actually really nice. I like mixing it in with my foundation for that all-over glow. I’d say it’s a pretty good dupe for the Cover FX custom enhancer drops, although not as intense. But hey, for the price, I’d say it’s worth it for sure.
Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder by Becca- This powder is INSANELY cool. The main draw for me was that I had heard it was a hydrating powder. When I heard that, I asked myself how it was possible for a powder to be hydrating, but wow….this stuff. The moment you apply this to the skin, it literally feels like water. It’s the strangest, yet coolest sensation ever. Definitely recommend for my dry skin people out there!
Rodeo Drive highlighter by OFRA- As someone who LOVES highlighters, I was actually late to this party. I finally got around to picking up the much raved about OFRA highlighter in the shade Rodeo Drive (one of their most popular shades) and it definitely did not disappoint. This glow is beaming and I absolutely love it. It has a golden tint, but it isn’t too gold for pale skin. Absolutely stunning.
Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain by Yves Saint Laurent in the shade Red Tribe- I love me a classic red lip even though sometimes they look too intense on my pale skin. The second that I applied this lip stain to my lips, I fell in love. To me, it’s a perfect red. Yes the price is definitely up there, but the shade is gorgeous and long wearing. So if you are looking to splurge a bit, I highly suggest picking it up.
The Dream Street palette by Kathleen Lights x Colourpop- Ohh Kathleen Lights, I love her. She’s one of my favorite Youtubers out there and when I saw this palette that she created with Colourpop, I had to pick it up. It’s the perfect palette to travel with because it contains some neutrals with a few pops of color. The formula is creamy and blends easily. Plus it’s Colourpop so the price is great!
I hope you enjoyed my recent beauty favorites! Definitely more to come as I have a makeup buying addiction.
